The flow
Discover — search endpoints in natural language (e.g. "web search", "scrape a URL"). Free.
Inspect — read the input schema, price, and health for any endpoint. Free.
Run — execute a specific provider/endpoint with your input. Billed.
Execute — describe a task; ToolPlexer picks a provider. Billed. This is the product.
Sync tools return results immediately (200). Async tools return 202 with a runId — poll GET /v1/runs/get?id=.
Pricing
Pay-as-you-go from a prepaid wallet. No subscriptions.
A run holds worst-case spend, settles actual cost, releases the rest. Provider errors and empty results are not charged.
If the wallet, budget, key limit, or per-run cap would be exceeded, the run is BLOCKED with controls. Do not auto-retry paid operations.
