Per-run USDC on Base instead of a prepaid wallet.
x402 pays execution on-chain. Discover and inspect still need a ToolPlexer API key.

POST https://api.toolplexer.com/x402/run without X-PAYMENT returns 402 with accepts[]. Network is Base (eip155:8453), USDC. Floor $0.01. The quoted maxAmountRequired is the price — you pay that amount exactly.
Pay
Retry with X-PAYMENT. Body is the same as /v1/run (provider, endpoint, input).
Retrieve
GET https://api.toolplexer.com/x402/runs/get?id=<runId>No second payment. Keep the runId. x402 runs cannot be listed.
Typical loop: discover/inspect with an API key → pay /x402/run → poll /x402/runs/get.
